Ocean pollution is one of the biggest threats to the oceanic ecosystem. Oil spills, plastic, toxic waste and human activities have contributed to polluting our oceans, causing a great number of marine life to die and weakening the ocean’s ability to thrive. Artist Huong created the Oceanus mural filled with hundreds of beautiful circle panels of bright and contrasting colors, accompanied by beautiful fishes and quotes to bring the ocean’s suffering to life.

The panels were designed to express the devastation that is occurring in the ocean through careless acts of pollution and to educate and encourage others to take a stand against the abuse that the ocean is encountering each and every day. Huong designed the Oceanus project as a way to confront the issues of marine pollution that has been taking place for years.
